How Bagged works

A plain-English walkthrough, then the technical detail.

Overview

Bagged lets anyone launch a coin on Pons (a launchpad on Robinhood Chain) whose creator fees go to a Twitch or Kick streamer, not to the person who launched it. Each streamer account has its own on-chain vault. Every coin launched for them names that vault as its fee recipient, permanently.

The streamer proves the channel is theirs once (Twitch/Kick sign-in, or a code in their bio) and links a wallet. After that, our keeper pays them automatically.

Launching a coin

  • Go to Launch, pick Twitch or Kick, and enter the channel name.
  • Choose a name and ticker, and add a photo: drag it in, pick it from your files, or paste it (defaults to the streamer's profile picture). Then connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain.
  • You pay Pons's small launch fee plus gas. The coin goes live immediately on the Pons bonding curve.
  • Traders pay only Pons's standard trading fee. There's no extra tax; the streamer's cut comes out of that normal creator fee.

Claiming (streamers)

  • Go to Claim and prove the channel is yours, in one of two ways:
    • Sign in with Twitch or Kick (fastest). We only read your account ID and disconnect right after.
    • Bio code (no sign-in): paste a one-time code into your Twitch bio or Kick channel description. We read it from the platform's public API, and you can delete it right after. Only the account owner can edit a bio.
  • Enter a wallet you control. We sign an authorization for your account and submit it on-chain, paying the gas.
  • The wallet goes live instantly. Everything waiting is paid out, and every future fee follows automatically.

Stream overlay

Every streamer page has an on-stream alerts link. Add it to OBS or Streamlabs as a Browser Source, and each buy of one of your coins pops up on stream with what you just earned. Options: ?min=0.01 to only alert on bigger buys, ?total=0 to hide the running total, ?test=1 to see a sample alert.

Fees

  • Pons charges a trading fee on every trade and keeps its protocol share. The creator share goes to the streamer's vault.
  • Bagged takes a 15% platform fee on payouts to streamers (hard-capped at 15% in the registry contract). Traders pay nothing extra.
  • The platform fee goes to the treasury contract, which splits it on arrival: 50% into a burn reserve that can only be spent buying $BAGGED at market and sending it to 0x…dEaD, and the rest to platform revenue. $BAGGED's own creator fees are revenue. Every burn is on the Burn page.
  • Launchers pay Pons's launch fee and gas. Streamers pay nothing.

Security

  • Keyed to permanent IDs. Vaults are derived from the platform's numeric user ID (accountId = platform << 248 | userId), never the username.
  • Only the platform proves ownership. Our server signs a link authorization only for an account that Twitch or Kick itself confirms: through their official OAuth sign-in, or by a one-time code appearing in the account's bio, read from the platform's own API.
  • No withdrawal backdoor. Vault money can only go to the streamer's linked wallet, plus the capped platform fee. There is no admin withdrawal function. In the treasury, the burn reserve can only be burned; the post-graduation swap route changes only after a public 3-day delay.
  • Timelocks and vetoes. Rotating the signing key takes a public 3-day timelock that an independent guardian can veto.
  • Outside our control: Pons can reassign a coin's fee recipient after a 3-day public notice (their community-takeover feature).
  • The contracts have been reviewed internally but have not been professionally audited yet.

FAQ

Do streamers have to connect their Twitch or Kick account?

No. Signing in is the fastest option, but streamers can instead paste a one-time code like bagged-7f3k2q9m into their public bio. We read it from Twitch or Kick, and they can delete it right after. Nothing is connected or authorized.

Does the streamer need to do anything for fees to build up?

No. Fees start accruing from the first trade, whether or not the streamer knows the coin exists. They can claim everything that has built up whenever they sign in.

How does a streamer get paid?

They go to Claim and prove the channel is theirs: either sign in with Twitch or Kick, or (no sign-in needed) paste a one-time code into their public bio. Then they enter a wallet address. It goes live instantly: everything waiting is sent to them, and every fee after that is paid automatically. We cover the gas.

Can someone else claim a streamer's fees?

No. Claiming requires either signing in with that exact account through Twitch or Kick, or adding a code to that account's bio, which only the owner can edit. Fees are tied to the account's permanent user ID, so changing or re-using a username doesn't move them.

Is the streamer endorsing the coin?

Not unless they say so. Anyone can launch a coin for any streamer, which is why every coin says it's fan-made.

What does it cost?

Launching costs Pons's small launch fee plus gas on Robinhood Chain. Traders pay only Pons's standard trading fee. We take a 15% platform fee from streamer payouts, and 50% of that is automatically used to buy back and burn $BAGGED. Pons keeps its own protocol share of trading fees.

What is $BAGGED?

The platform token. 50% of every platform fee is spent buying $BAGGED on the open market and sending it to the dead address, enforced by the treasury contract: that half can only ever be burned, never withdrawn. Every burn is public on the Burn page.

What happens to fees if a streamer never claims?

They stay in the streamer's vault (and in the Pons fee escrow) until the streamer claims. Nobody else, including us, can withdraw them.

What if the streamer changes their username?

Nothing changes. Vaults are tied to the platform's permanent numeric user ID, not the username. Their page moves to the new name automatically.

How fast do payouts start after claiming?

Instantly. As soon as Twitch or Kick confirms the account is yours, your wallet is linked and everything waiting is paid out. Keep your Twitch or Kick login secure: whoever controls the account can claim its fees.

Which wallets work?

Any Ethereum-style wallet that works on Robinhood Chain, e.g. Robinhood Wallet, MetaMask or Rabby. Streamers don't need ETH for gas; we cover it.

Can I launch a coin for myself?

Yes. Launch it for your own channel, then claim on the Claim page. Your community can trade it right away.

Where do coins trade?

On the Pons bonding curve (you can buy right from each coin page), then on a locked Uniswap pool once the coin graduates. You can also trade on Pons.
